As a Security Officer Armed Driving Role Patrol in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support a secure environment through strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license and an armed license. At Allied Universal, you will bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations, remaining attentive to unusual activity and/or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Support emergency and incident response activities, including communication with site personnel and public responders when appropriate, while following post orders and applicable armed post requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
