Job Description:

This position would focus on the exciting field of renewable energy sources. The Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind project is very unique both for and the Energy Industry overall. Person filling this role needs a wide breadth of knowledge from application installation both internal and vendor supplied. Understanding of Networks and databases to fine-tune performance is needed. This role would encompass applications that are new to the energy industry. The person in this role needs to be self-motivated to delve deep into issues to locate solutions for situations that are unique.

Top Required Skills:

• Must have extensive PowerShell scripting experience
• Experience with Microsoft/Windows Servers
• Strong Active Directory Skills
• Must have previously led large migrations and upgrades
• Vendor app experience

Soft skill requirements:

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams

Nice to Have Skills:

• Ability to maintain composure in high intensity situations

Key Responsibilities and Skills:

• System Analysis and Design: Analyze existing systems and business processes to identify requirements and design solutions.
• Software Development: Write, test, and debug programs, ensuring they meet specifications and are functional.
• System Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting for systems and applications.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with various stakeholders, including business users, other developers, and IT teams, to understand needs and explain technical concepts.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, such as user manuals and system design documents.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues within systems and applications.

Required Years of Experience:

• 5 years of directly related experience

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree - Discipline Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics.

Preferred Interview Process Overview (High level):

• Panel containing myself and members of current support team.
