Position Summary:

The Brand Specialist is responsible for creating an engaging, storytelling experience for every customer who walks through the door-helping them find the right fit, style, and product in the moment. This role serves as a product expert, delivering elevated service through deep product knowledge and personalized recommendations. Brand Specialists complete extensive product training and play a key role in driving sales through meaningful customer interactions and brand storytelling. Responsibilities:

Customer Experience and Selling Excellence

  • Create a welcoming and engaging environment by initiating conversations with every customer.
  • Deliver a personalized shopping experience by understanding customer needs and providing tailored product recommendations.
  • Use storytelling to communicate product features, benefits, and brand heritage in a compelling way.
  • Assist customers in fitting rooms and guide them through outfitting and purchase decisions.
  • Consistently achieve individual sales goals and contribute to overall store performance.
  • Build brand loyalty by promoting loyalty programs and creating memorable customer interactions.

Product Knowledge and Expertise

  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of all products, including features, fits, materials, and performance benefits.
  • Complete all required training programs and continuously stay current on new product launches and trends.
  • Serve as a go-to resource for product knowledge, supporting teammates when needed.
  • Confidently educate customers to help them make informed purchase decisions.

Store Standards and Operations

  • Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and presentation ready.
  • Support daily store operations, including replenishment, recovery, and maintaining product flow.
  • Address customer questions or concerns in a professional and solution-oriented manner.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and loss prevention standards.
  • Participates in Loss Prevention Audits, understands and complies with company loss prevention policies to minimize store shrink.

  • Strategic Foresight: Anticipate upcoming business needs such as deliveries, peak traffic periods, or promotions and help the team prepare through planning and prioritization.

  • Urgency for Impact: Assess store conditions and identify opportunities to improve visual presentation and store readiness to drive results. Ideas would be shared with Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Retail or customer-facing experience preferred but not required.
  • Full-time positions require open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.
  • Operate office equipment and technology (i.e., cash register, computers, phones, scanners, etc.).
  • Stand and move throughout the store during scheduled shifts.
  • Walking and moving to assist customers, retrieve merchandise and recover the store.
  • Lifting and carrying, ability to maneuver and/or lift 25 lbs. regularly, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to push/pull full racks of merchandise for restocking the store.
  • Ability to reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items from shelves, restock, and maintain store cleanliness.
  • Manual labor is required occasionally to assemble displays and/or rearrange the store layout.
  • Vision to accurately read labels, assist customers, and tasks that require attention to detail.
  • Ability to use fine manipulation, and grasp with hands to sort and organize clothing, ex. place on hangers, folding, organize in color/size order.

Pay and Benefits:

  • Pay Range for this position is:$15-22/hour
