Job Title: Site-Specific Safety Manager (SSSM)
Location: Apex, NC 27539

Duration: 12 months with a strong potential to convert
Pay Rate: $40.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
(Flexibility required for occasional early mornings, late evenings, or weekend work)

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead daily safety inspections and proactively identify risks before they become issues
  • Investigate incidents and near misses-then implement real solutions, not just reports
  • Partner with teams and subcontractors to ensure top-tier safety standards
  • Maintain and manage critical safety documentation and compliance records
  • Act as the on-site expert and trusted advisor for all safety-related matters
Job Requirements
What You Bring to the Table
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety (or related field)
  • 5 years of construction EHS experience (large-scale projects preferred)
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
Bonus Points If You Have
  • CHST, ASP, or CSP certification (or working toward one)
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish
  • A confident, proactive approach-you're someone who speaks up and takes action
