Land Development Engineering Lead

McAdams
United States, Florida, Tampa
Sep 13, 2026

McAdams is a full-service land planning, landscape architecture, civil engineering, transportation, and geomatics firm located in North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, and Florida. We seek to partner with our clients to create meaningful experiences through inspired design. Our employees are what make McAdams different. We bring experiences to the forefront of everything we do, and to do that takes special people.

McAdams is looking for a Land Development Engineering Lead to lead, grow, and strengthen our Tampa operation. This leader will bring the full capabilities of McAdams to the market and build a profitable, diversified, high-performing office.

You'll have the opportunity to lead and shape a major growth market-with exceptional people, multidisciplinary capabilities, be a part of a high functioning leadership team, and the resources of an established firm behind you. McAdams is privately owned and fiercely determined to stay that way; we are building for the long term, not building to sell. That means you will have a substantial voice in our future, the opportunity to make a lasting impact, and a potential path to ownership and the wealth we create together.

This is a market-facing leadership role, not simply a technical position. A Land Development leader with an established reputation in Commercial, Senior Living, Industrial, Data Centers, or another active Florida land development market is strongly preferred.

The right leader will be highly connected in Florida, known and trusted by clients, and able to turn relationships into work. They will develop leaders, strengthen project delivery, and connect Tampa with McAdams experts across the firm. Success means durable backlog, excellent work, strong financial performance, and an office that fully represents our brand.

Why McAdams

At McAdams, growth is something we build together. We are looking for leaders who want the opportunity to shape strategy, develop people, and grow a practice with the support of a strong, collaborative firm behind them.

We invest in leaders who want:

  • Opportunities to shape strategy and grow
  • Exposure to meaningful projects across multiple market sectors
  • A collaborative, team-first culture
  • The ability to build services, teams, and client relationships over time
  • A platform for long-term career growth and leadership development
