68800 PURPOSE OF THE ROLE The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator serves as an extension of site leadership within an industrial manufacturing environment. This hands-on, onsite role is responsible for driving an injury-free and incident-free workplace through visible floor presence, effective coaching, disciplined execution of EHS management systems, and employee engagement. The EHS Coordinator supports regulatory compliance, Serious Injury and Fatality (SIF) risk reduction, Human Performance Improvement (HPI), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and environmental stewardship. The role partners closely with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate workplace risk. This position requires daily engagement in the production environment and flexibility to support multiple shifts, including off-shifts as operational needs require. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership & Engagement Lead by example in all aspects of Environmental, Health & Safety while reinforcing Owens Corning's safety-first culture. Safety & Risk Management Maintain compliance with OSHA General Industry standards through audits, inspections, training, and corrective action tracking. Environmental Compliance Support environmental permits and regulatory reporting related to air, water, stormwater, and spill prevention. Occupational Health Support industrial hygiene monitoring and exposure assessments. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Complete all annual safety and role specific training, as required by this position
