Job Description




As a Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional at a leading financial institution location, where you will monitor communications, coordinate responses to security-related activity, and support daily operations with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a financial institution setting.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, phones, and/or radio traffic from the dispatch post, and communicate important information to on-site personnel, supervisors, and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to coordinate timely security-related support across the location.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and activity reports, documenting calls for service, unusual activity, and/or responses in accordance with site procedures.
  • Support regular and random security-related coverage by directing officers to priority areas, monitoring building and perimeter activity, and helping to identify potential concerns throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Have customer service experience, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
