Job Description Summary

Lead Warehouse Technician - Temporary Structures

This is not a desk job. We are looking for a Warehouse Lead who wants to be in the middle of the action. You will be the engine room for our Temporary Structures division. Our warehouse is where the "heavy lifting" happens-literally. You will be responsible for leading a team that prepares, maintains, and manages the inventory that builds our structures, including fabric tent components, HVAC systems, industrial doors, and flooring.

If you are a hands-on leader who prefers operating a forklift to pushing papers, and you enjoy maintaining mechanical equipment as much as you enjoy leading a crew, this is the role for you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Yard & Warehouse Leadership: You are the boots-on-the-ground lead. You will direct the team in daily operations, ensuring trucks are loaded accurately and the yard remains organized and efficient.

  • Mechanical & Maintenance Work: This isn't just "picking and packing." You will be hands-on with our specialized equipment, including performing maintenance on HVAC units, assembling garage doors, and managing various structural components.

  • Heavy Equipment Operation: You must be proficient and comfortable operating warehouse equipment, specifically 6K forklifts. Safety is the priority.

  • Inventory & Logistics: Overseeing the lifecycle of our rental inventory. This includes receiving equipment back from job sites, inspecting for damage, cleaning, conducting repairs, and prepping it to go back out the door.

  • Team Development: Mentoring team members on safety, proper loading techniques, and equipment handling. You lead by example-if the yard needs cleaning, you're the first one to pick up a tool.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Hands-On Experience: 3-5 years in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Previous lead or supervisory experience is a major plus.

  • Mechanical Aptitude: You know your way around a toolset. You have experience with mechanical systems (HVAC, doors, or similar industrial gear).

  • Forklift Proficiency: You have significant experience with 6K forklifts and are comfortable operating them in a busy yard environment.

  • Physical Stamina: This role requires being on your feet and moving. You must be able to lift 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: You can read a pick list, solve inventory discrepancies, and figure out how to load a truck so the gear arrives at the job site undamaged.

  • A "Safety First" Mindset: You enforce the rules because you want everyone to go home in the same shape they arrived.

Why This Job?

  • You will not be stuck in an office.

  • You are responsible for the physical hardware that makes our projects possible.

  • You will lead a hard-working team in a fast-paced, industrial environment.

Base Pay Range: $21.38 - 29.39
