Job Description




As a Security Officer Dispatch Driver Role in Benton Harbor, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response support for a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor radios, telephones, alarms, cameras, and/or other dispatch systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and relay information to appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations by coordinating communication with onsite staff, supervisors, and/or first responders while following established security-related procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter, as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Prepare clear logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, and help to deter unauthorized access or policy violations by reporting concerns and supporting site rules.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
