TEKsystems is currently hiring for FULL-TIME Bank Tellers with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution in the Suffolk, VA area to start this May! * * ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCATED WITHIN A 30-MILE RADIUS OF SUFFOLK, VA! Position Overview: * Role: Bank Teller * Target Start Date: April 3rd week or 4th week * Location: Onsite in Suffolk, VA * Pay Rate: $21.42 per hour * Contract: 5 Months (subject to extension) Job Description: Provide exceptional member service in a high-volume, schedule-driven environment with a strong focus on teller-line operations. Ensure accurate and efficient handling of financial transactions or related functions for savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, and/or other Navy Federal accounts. Provide information regarding Navy Federal products and services demonstrating knowledge, active listening, multiple system adaptability and engagement methods to ensure optimal member experience and customer service. Advise members of other products and services that may fit their needs and provide opportunities for positive member interactions. Job Responsibilities: * Respond to in-person member inquiries and requests promptly within a structured operation. * Perform teller-line transactions and related functions for savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, and fraud resolution. * Protect and verify identity of members, review account information for alerts and account irregularities. * Act and respond to situations/patterns of activity indicating potential fraud or abuse. * Demonstrate proficiency in multiple systems, active listening, and engagement techniques to ensure accuracy and member satisfaction. * Identify and recommend additional Navy Federal products and services to meet member needs. * Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures while supporting a positive member interaction experience. Qualifications: We're looking for motivated individuals who meet the following criteria: * Required: Experience with cash-handling in a fast-paced environment * Desired: Experience in customer service, preferably in banking or a financial institution Schedule Details: * Regular Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Saturday * Employees are expected to be available to work Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. * On Saturdays, employees should be available to work between 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
