In the role of Construction Coordinator/EIT, we'll count on you to:

  • Assist leadership in processing paperwork to expedite construction activities.
  • Gain exposure to standard construction features to understand conformance with contract documents.
  • Gain exposure to project schedules, pay requests, progress reports, and cost/budget reports.
  • Assist with project field coordination, documentation, cost monitoring, bidding, and scheduling.
  • Receive and track RFIs, submittals and other required data for CM.
  • Perform other duties including on-site inspection assistance, document control, monitoring daily logs, and status reports as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • A collaborative team attitude driven to remove obstacles from team progress.
  • Master's degree
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
  • Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
  • Local candidates preferred

This position is subject to a governmental background check & a preemployment drug test.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Primavera, Scheduling Software, spreadsheets and databases
  • Interest and/or experience in the construction field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) Fulton, MD: $61,369 - $87,670. Washington, DC: $66,948 - $95,640.
