Location: Montgomery County 245 Township Line Road Hatfield, PA 19440 Location: Montgomery County 245 Township Line Road Hatfield, PA 19440 Position Summary In this position the Intern will have the opportunity to join the diverse group of engineers, developing and manufacturing medical devices for the medical/dental industry: new product development, sustaining, manufacturing, and lean manufacturing. Through this opportunity, the engineering co-op will gain experience with the full product life cycle within the medical device industry. Specific Duties & Responsibilities 1. (Design and Drafting) Assist with mechanical part design, electromechanical design, assembly design 2. (Assembly) conduct station set-up, lean manufacturing, process validation, mechanical troubleshooting, & electrical troubleshooting. 3. (Calibration) perform manual calibrations, automated test fixtures, mechanical design and manufacture, software design and execution. 4. (Quality) troubleshoot failure analysis, recommend product improvements, & system software verification and validation of product software. Qualifications Qualifications
