Here's what we're looking for.

• GED or High School Diploma (BS degree in engineering, business, or related discipline a plus).
• Minimum one-year experience in a supervisory role or equivalent position within a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge and understanding of MRP systems and their use in a manufacturing environment (knowledge of NetSuite a plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to demonstrate written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by Management.
• Procurement and production Support
• Create, manage, and track Purchase Orders (POs) in MRP systems; ensure accuracy of orders and resolve issues with invoices or shipment shortages.
• Closely monitors MRP exceptions messages and act upon those. Set up and maintain data master's in system. Monitor and addresses PPV issues.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, analyze total cost of ownership, and implement cost-saving measures.
• Identify, develop, and manage effective relationships with existing and potential suppliers of goods and services to meet the established cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Review bid proposals and negotiate contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority.
• Confer with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule, maintain a good relationship with vendors.
• Discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
