Position Description

Pay range: $135,000 - $175,000 annually

Your Opportunity:

TechSource is hiring a full-time Senior HVAC Engineer to serve as the technical subject matter expert to identify candidates and work scope for future business growth. conduct construction document reviews and work on large-scale projects from planning to execution phases supporting Department of Energy (DOE) facilities. You will work a hybrid work arrangement in Aiken, SC or Knoxville, TN, depending on your location.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Identify candidates and work scope for large projects at two Department of Energy facilities.

* Provide technical direction to engineers.

* Plan, organize, and coordinate process/engineering team/design projects from inception to project startup.

* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

* 7 or more years of HVAC engineering experience, including project management experience.

* US citizenship is required.

* Working knowledge of federal (including DOE Orders), state, and local codes and standards applicable to HVAC design and systems.

Preferred requirements:

* Active DOE Q or Top Secret security clearance.

* DOE/NNSA work experience or knowledge.
