The Contribution You'll bring to this Role:

The Master Planner/Scheduler will assist with Inventory Control and assist management, maintenance, operations, and sales with scheduling issues. This position will ensure that appropriate inventory levels are met and utilize our ERP system to make sure that production planning includes capacity, demand, supply, and inventory analysis in creating production schedules. Weekly and monthly reports will be prepared and published to track the status of performance.

What You'll Do at Justrite:



  • Maintain Job Order module by generating, releasing, updating, and closing work orders via MRP


  • Develop and maintain a master production schedule


  • Prepare and update daily and weekly schedules in coordination with master schedule


  • Communicate production scheduling changes, related to customer orders, to Sales


  • Discuss scheduling issues with Management, Maintenance, Operations, and Sales, providing updates until resolved


  • Communicate with Production Managers, Purchasing, and Sales to ensure that appropriate inventory levels are met


  • Utilize ERP System to ensure that production planning includes capacity, demand, supply and inventory analysis in creating production schedules


  • Work with Sales and Purchasing departments to maintain reorder points and EOQ for all items in system


  • Work closely with Purchasing on material availability for production


  • Assist Purchasing in maintaining inventory levels, safety stock and inventory turns


  • Prepare and publish weekly & monthly reports which track the status of departmental key performance indicators


  • When required, provide relevant information regarding the content, changes or presentation of schedules.


  • Manage Negative Tier report


  • Manage Cycle Count Program


  • Aid with Physical inventories


  • Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.


  • Perform any other duties as directed by management and ownership.


Your Skills and Expertise:

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:



  • 5 years of prior experience in a Supply Chain function, Demand Forecasting, Financial Analysis, or Sales / Marketing


  • CSI (Cloud Suite Industrial/Infor) preferred


  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite


  • APICS, or other Supply Chain skill certifications a plus.


  • Ability to operate standard office equipment including but not limited to; computer, copier


  • Experience working with scheduling and planning management software preferred

  • Knowledge of MRP

  • Ability to analyze data to make decisions on material/product requirements

Compensation:

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $70,000 to $84,000.

Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
