Position Summary The Senior Finance Manager oversees the organization's management accounting and controlling activities, ensuring accurate financial analysis and reporting to support informed business decisions. This role plays a key part in budgeting, forecasting, cost monitoring, and variance analysis, helping drive financial performance and optimize resource allocation. The Senior Finance Manager partners closely with business leaders to provide actionable financial insights, analyze operational and product costs, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and profitability improvement. The role also focuses on enhancing controlling processes, implementing effective financial controls, and aligning financial management with the company's strategic objectives. Job Duties
Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field is required. Experience Requirements At least 10 years of experience in financial analysis, including a minimum of three years in a manufacturing environment with solid exposure to industrial controlling and cost accounting. Previous experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP CO, reporting, and cost analysis modules) is also required. Licenses/Certifications CPA or CMA required. Working Conditions Typical office environment with some travel between buildings and to other locations required. Must be able to frequently lift/move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move/lift to 25 pounds without assistance.
