UTILITY PERSON

As a Custodial / Facility Support Team Member, you will:

• Work in a modern office and facility support environment
• Perform daily facility cleaning with a strong focus on concrete floor maintenance
• Dust mop and autoscrub hard surface floors throughout the facility
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas, including routine cleaning of breakroom appliances such as microwaves and refrigerators according to established schedules
• Operate commercial cleaning equipment, including a walkbehind floor scrubber
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and restock facility supplies
• Clean doors, glass, entryways, and hightouch surfaces
• Perform endofshift walkthroughs to ensure the facility is reset for the next day
• Identify and report facility or maintenance issues as observed
• Complete general custodial duties and special cleaning projects as needed
• Work independently while maintaining strong attention to detail and consistency

This role supports the facility outside of active production operations and does not require working around production machinery or suspended loads.

This position offers a consistent schedule with clearly defined responsibilities. An orientation will be provided to review facility expectations, safety requirements, and daily responsibilities. Candidates with prior experience using commercial cleaning equipment are preferred.

This is a regular hourly position, approximately 35 hours per week, primarily worked on a swing shift.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferences:

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Previous custodial, janitorial, or facility maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and tools with minimal direction
• Ability to follow schedules, procedures, and safety expectations
• Ability to measure, follow mixing instructions, and manage time effectively

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, and stooping
• Ability to lift to 40 lbs. with assistance if needed
• Ability to work around cleaning chemicals, concrete dust, and varying indoor temperatures
• You must wear required personal protective equipment
