Microsoft's Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs (CELA) Public Affairs team works at the intersection of technology, public policy, and societal impact. AsSenior Manager,Digital Channel Strategy for Public Affairs,you will develop and executedigitalmarketingchannel strategiesto engagethought leaders,policyinsidersand government stakeholderswith the goal toenhanceawarenessofour corporate responsibility work,buildingtrustand credibility for Microsoft'sglobal business. In this role youwill usedata-driven insights todevelopstrategiesforownedchannelsactivations(primarily socialmediaandblog)that help Public Affairsincrease visibility and impact of our core content and narratives. You will developand manage the operational plan that will driveefficiencies,agilityand growth to ourownedchannels.You willbe responsible forestablishingand implementing channel best practices,definingand tracking goals,monitoringperformance benchmarks,and ensuring a cohesive multi-channelexperience across all touchpoints.In this role, you will be the team champion analytics by providing insights and data to inform strategic decision making across the team. The owned channel responsibilitiesincluderepresentingCELArequests for amplification on Microsoft O&O channels, requiring you to build internal relationships with variousbrand and commercial marketing teams, and to apply sound judgment indeterminingwhat amplification opportunities to pursue. Related, youwill also lead paid boosting ofsocial channelsto grow audienceawareness andengagement. This rolesits within a digital and marketing team of Public Affairs andpartners closely with colleagues inPublic Affairs Communications, as well aswithprogram stakeholders and external vendors. Communications IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
