Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.


Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a network systems integration engineer within the NC3 engineering group, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for integrating state of the art network and security devices into critical mission systems in support of our nation's strategic deterrence mission.

What sets you apart:

  • Perform lab-based configuration of network equipment to support larger mission system integration.
  • Design, develop, and implement complex systems with a focus on networking and MBSE tools.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve system design weaknesses, particularly in networked environments.
  • Develop system security documentation and provide system accreditation/certification evaluation and test support.
  • Utilize MBSE tools to model, simulate, and analyze system designs, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, scalable, and secure architectures.
  • Research and analyze data, such as vendor products, COTS components, and specifications, to determine feasibility of design or application.
  • Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
  • Creative thinker with ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity

  • Strong understanding and application of systems engineering principles, concepts, and theories.
  • Solid understanding of network design principles, theories, best practices, and concepts.
  • Advanced diagnostic techniques to identify and resolve connectivity issues across complex network architectures.
  • Expertise in configuring switches, routers, and firewalls to ensure secure and efficient network operations.
  • Proficiency in MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, or similar).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly report information relevant to sound systems engineering design.
  • Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle complex assignments efficiently.
  • Awareness of business objectives and the role of engineering in achieving these goals.
  • Skilled in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions effectively.

While on-site, you will be a part of the Taunton, MA facility, with occasional travel needed to our Dedham, MA location.

Target salary range: USD $118,570.00/Yr. - USD $131,539.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
