Job Title: Pharmacy 340B Program Analyst

Full Time - 1st Shift

Job Description:

The 340b Program Analyst performs the 340B administrator duties by evaluating the appropriateness of 340b purchases and dispensations in the retail and hospital pharmacies. The Administrator evaluates 340b purchases and dispensations with any contract pharmacy(ies) active. The Administrator gathers data for routine meetings with pharmacy leadership, finance, and the local compliance officer.

  • Utilizes knowledge of 340b split billing software system(s).
  • Compiles and analyzes data using Excel to ensure compliance with the 340b program requirements.
  • Presents financial and analytical data within Excel and Word.
  • Audits pharmacy claims, medical records information, and pharmacy purchases for compliance with the 340b program requirements.
  • Monitors 340b purchases in the retail and hospital pharmacies.
  • Research and provides appropriate 340b information (verbal and written) in response to
  • Pharmacy management, the Chief Financial Officer, or Hospital Compliance Officer inquiries.
  • Sends and receives pharmacy orders from both the retail pharmacy and the hospital pharmacy
  • accounts when required.
  • Participates in organizational and departmental educational efforts.
  • May be required to work with hazardous pharmaceuticals and dispose of waste medication in
  • containers located in Pharmacy.
  • Attends and contributes to the content of meetings and committees as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent - Preferred
  • Nationally certified as a pharmacy technician preferred.
  • Experience in 340b compliance standards preferred.
  • Knowledge of 340b split billing software(s) preferred.
  • Experience with Excel preferred.
  • Analytics background highly preferred.
  • Pharmaceutical buyer experience preferred.
