Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking for a Facility HIM Lead Tech to join our team! This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN

Serves as support to the HIM Director and Supervisor with respect to managing special projects within the HIMdepartments at each facility when needed. Assists in monitoring all HIM functions, ensuring that thedepartmental goals and objectives are met. Monitors work queues to ensure completion and reports to HIM
Manager all deficiencies and/or timeliness issues with queue completion. Promotes corporate integrity throughcompliance with the BHS Corporate Responsibility Program.

Qualifications:

• High School/GED.

• Associate or bachelor's degree/RHIT/RHI preferred.

• RHIA certification equates to 4 years of HIM work experience.

• RHIT certification equates to 2 years of HIM work experience.

• Two years minimum computer experience, with proficiency in data entry and basic MS Office applications including Wordand Excel required Knowledge of basic medical terminology required

• Notary public/eligible to obtain as needed
