Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital is a nationally recognized academic medical center and a destination for advanced, highacuity care. In July 2025, the hospital achieved top rankings from U.S. News & World Report, placing among the top hospitals in Michigan, ranking in the top 50 nationally across nine specialties, and earning highperforming ratings in 21 procedures and conditions.

As a major academic and referral center, the hospital holds Level I adult and Level II pediatric trauma designations and supports a robust teaching and research mission. Its advanced clinical capabilities have earned Magnet designation four consecutive times, reflecting excellence in nursing and interprofessional collaboration, and it is home to Michigan's first Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence.

The Role of Pharmacy Leadership

William Beaumont University Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center and teaching hospital requiring strong, adaptive leadership across complex, multidisciplinary environments. We are seeking a pharmacy leader who brings strategic vision, operational discipline, and a passion for mentoring teams. The ideal leader will excel in navigating complexity, partnering with clinical and executive stakeholders, and advancing pharmacy practice within a highly integrated health system.

This role offers the opportunity to influence systemwide pharmacy strategy, support academic and clinical excellence, and lead highperforming teams alongside some of the most respected professionals in healthcare.

Scope of work

Manages the direction, coordination, and analysis of pharmacy services. Utilizes data and information from multiple sources to identify opportunities within the medication use system in order to ensure continuous process improvement. Leads a diverse and effective pharmacy team with the purpose of improving quality and safety outcomes and managing financial performance. Works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to implement programs and systems. Has an in-depth knowledge of pharmacy operations and pharmacy practice and demonstrates a personal commitment to professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy Required.
  • Five years of relevant experience Required.
  • Three years of relevant experience to include the skills, knowledge, abilities gained through related leadership experience or post graduate residency training (PGY2) Required.
  • MI Clinical Pharmacist 90 Days required and
  • MI Pharmacist Controlled Substance 90 Days required.
