Overview:

HGA is seeking a Creative Project Manager to join our Brand team-someone who thrives on bringing structure to creative chaos and takes real pride in helping a team deliver its best work. You'll be the operational engine behind our graphic design and video efforts, working closely with our Brand Manager, graphic designers, and video specialists to keep projects on track, priorities aligned, and quality consistently high.

In this role, you'll act as the connective thread between the Brand team and key internal partners-including sector marketing, business development, and communications-managing the full lifecycle of creative requests from intake through final delivery.

While this position is rooted in project management and process, you're far more than a coordinator. You bring a strong design sensibility, hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to jump in and contribute when the team needs an extra set of skilled, creative hands.

You'll thrive at HGA if you...

Are energized by building systems and processes that help creative teams do their best work
  • Can hold a project together without micromanaging the people in it
  • Have a strong design eye even when you're not the one holding the pen
  • Stay calm and organized in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Enjoy connecting the dots between creative, strategy, and business goal

In this role you will:

Project Management & Operations (primary focus)

  • Own the intake, prioritization, and scheduling of creative requests across the brand team, balancing workloads and matching projects to the right resources.
  • Build and maintain timelines, production schedules, and workflow trackers that keep everyone aligned and on track.
  • Design and manage structured briefing and intake processes that reduce ambiguity and rework.
  • Maintain dashboards that give leadership visibility into team capacity, project status, and performance.
  • Continuously refine tools, templates, and workflows to help the team work smarter.
  • Hold stakeholders accountable to timelines and deliverables - with a collaborative, not combative, approach.

Creative Support & Execution (secondary focus)

  • Provide production support in Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint - refining layouts, updating content, and prepping files for delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of print, digital, and video assets that are on-brand and audience-appropriate.
  • Partner with sector marketing teams, business development, and communications to ensure creative alignment across campaigns and initiatives, tailoring materials to specific audiences, markets, and regions.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, project management, graphic design, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in project management, marketing operations, or creative production - ideally in the AEC industry or a professional services environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with project management and marketing platforms such as Workfront,Deltek Vantagepoint, or similar tools (Monday.com, Asana, etc.).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills - you're comfortable working with stakeholders at every level.
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to track KPIs and turn insights into action.
