Job Description:

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support shipments and deliveries for entire campus as required.
• Unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments. Reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper; receive and process all defective parts returned for replacement or credit; maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies as needed.
• Position may require extensive outside work.
• Comply with all DOT and IATA regulations. Comply with Department of Homeland Security requirements.
• Have experience with computer systems to include Microsoft Office products, i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel
• Will be required to learn, understand and perform the duties of the mail center
• Other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Requirements for Shipping & Receiving Support Staff

This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check; this position may require annual background checks.

• Minimum three years relevant experience as well as high school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb. containers safely and efficiently.
• Able to stand for the majority of the shift.
• Strong customer service, especially when working on confidential matters.
• Requirement to undergo background check.
• Familiarity with computer and Microsoft programs.

Salary Range:  $21.50-$22.50/ hour
