Job Title: Part-Time Inventory and Shipping/ Receiving Clerk
Location: Melbourne
Employment Type: Temporary
Compensation: $22- $24 (depending on level of experience)
Schedule: 10:00am- 2:00pm part-time
About the Opportunity:
This role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory levels, including monitoring stock, pulling materials for operations, and updating records in SAP to ensure smooth workflow and organization. The individual will also support shipping and receiving functions by verifying incoming shipments, preparing outgoing orders, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. Additionally, they will assist with inventory counts, storage optimization, and cross-functional support to keep warehouse operations efficient and organized.

What You'll Do:
Inventory
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels
  • Pull stock as required for operations
  • Perform data entry and inventory updates in SAP
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining effective storage locations to optimize space and organization
  • Support routine inventory counts and accuracy checks
Shipping & Receiving Support
  • Assist with receiving and verifying incoming shipments
  • Operate with the three-way match process (PO, packing slip, and invoice)
  • Process and organize receiving paperwork accurately
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including boxing, packing, labeling, and marking products properly
  • Ensure all required shipping documentation is completed and attached
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or distribution (e.g., Inventory Clerk) is a plus
  • Familiarity with SAP preferred but not required
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work accurately, follow procedures, and support multiple teams as needed
