What You'll Do:
  • Prepare specifications for low and high-volume manufacturing automation equipment
  • Overall responsibility and accountability for production quality from definition to operational stages
  • Design test fixtures and implement product and system tests
  • Efficiently obtaining measurable and predictable results
  • Create and present test reports in a clear and concise manner
  • Planning, procuring, organizing and maintaining test equipment and materials
  • Collaborate with product development team to incorporate test results
  • Coordinate with manufacturing partners for product testing
  • Set and communicate reliability requirements and targets for components, subsystems
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a technician or engineer in the manufacturing industry
What Sets You Apart:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology program at College/University
  • 2-3 years of work experience in Solar Module manufacturing plant, a plus but not required
  • Strong computer skills and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, 5S, Six sigma, Toyota production system, and/or Lean Manufacturing training courses.
  • Good Knowledge of the application of statistical tools in process control and product monitoring
  • Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Systems (CMMS) is an asset
