Scheduling Optimization Specialist - M-F, 8a-5:30p PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Scheduling Optimization Specialist is responsible for the oversight, maintenance, and quality assurance of provider scheduling templates across the enterprise. This role supports the organization's scheduling optimization strategy by ensuring templates are accurately built, consistently applied, and aligned with established standards and Epic system functionality. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Oversee the build, modification, and maintenance of provider scheduling templates within Epic in alignment with established standards and guidelines * Assist with the build, modification, and maintenance of provider scheduling templates within Epic in alignment with established standards and guidelines * Communicate changes to schedule templates and ensure accuracy from Epic to other knowledge management tools like Sharepoint and Excel-based scheduling guidelines * Support growth efforts of the organization, ensuring that scheduling requirements and timelines for template build can be achieved relative to other onboarding events Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree required An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
