Dorsey is seeking a skilled eBilling Specialist to elevate the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of our electronic invoicing program in support of exceptional client service. Are you adept at navigating eBilling platforms like eBillingHub, Legal Tracker, CounselLink, and Collaborati to deliver timely, LEDES-compliant submissions and clear reporting? Do you thrive on resolving rejections, managing rates, budgets, and accruals, and partnering with attorneys, billers, and Accounts Receivable to meet outside counsel guidelines? In this role, you will maintain precise records in Elite 3E, set up clients and mappings, monitor status and trends, and drive continuous improvement through training and process refinement while upholding Dorsey's values of integrity, collaboration, inclusion, and excellence.

In this role, you will:

- Review and electronically submit legal invoices in accordance with client guidelines and firm policies.
- Support electronic billing processes using eBilling platforms such as eBilling Hub, Legal Tracker, CounselLink, or similar systems.
- Proactively monitor eBilling progress, including status reporting, managing rejections, rate submissions, budgets and special requirements.
- Continually evaluate current eBilling methods and make recommendations for new work procedures to meet the changing needs client invoice submission. Attend training and webinars to increase knowledge of vendor portals.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all eBilling invoices. Monitor changes in billing procedures, policies and billing attorney preferences.
- Prepare reports on outstanding eBilling invoices and rejection status. Provide updates to management, attorneys and billers on outstanding action items related to eBilling.
- Assist Accounts Receivable and billers in analysis as requested by clients, attorneys, or accounting personnel.
- Maintain billing records in 3E and provide follow-up assistance to attorneys, legal assistants and clients regarding questions or problems arising from billing. Provide spreadsheets, reporting, etc. to client when requested.
- Set up new clients and mapping in various eBilling and vendor systems. Enter budgets for clients monthly, working closely with attorneys and attorneys to meet deadlines.
- Management of accruals, rejections, budgets, LEDES file creation, and rate issues, etc. Ensure every rejection is managed on a weekly basis to ensure we bill timely.
- Participate in the annual rate increase process in the firm and manage all client rate changes as needed throughout the year. Ensure compliance with outside counsel guidelines, including fee arrangements per engagement letters.
- Assist AR Specialists and Billing Specialists in resolving line item rejections and appeals, resolving eBilling set up issues, train others in the use of eBilling and vendor applications. Establish and maintain strong relationships with attorneys and their clients. Review client accounts for accuracy.
- May be requested to perform other duties not mentioned above.

What we're looking for:

- High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in billing and accounts receivable.
- eBilling experience with various eBilling vendors.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written, with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to use good judgment in taking initiative while asking for direction or clarification and consulting others, as appropriate.
- Excellent client and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently in a deadline driven environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Outlook) and intermediate Excel skills.
- Experience working directly with clients.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
Preferred:

- Experience working in a large law firm.
- Experience with Legal Tracker, CounselLink, eBilling Hub, Collaborati, and other eBilling vendors.
- Thorough understanding of advanced Elite Billing capabilities and eBilling applications.
- Familiarity with LEDES file formatting.

The pay range for this position in Minnesota and Colorado only is $35.00 to $45.31 per hour.
The pay range for this position in Illinois only is $38.76 to $50.16 per hour.
The pay range for this position in Seattle only is $38.79 to $50.21 per hour.

This range represents Dorsey's good faith estimate of likely compensation at the time of posting. Actual pay will be dependent upon a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills and location and may fall outside of the range indicated.
