Senior Programmatic Trader

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Senior Programmatic Trader to join the team. This candidate will play a critical role in the D/Cipher team, responsible for campaign management across industry leading platforms, with our proprietary intent targeting tool D/Cipher. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programmatic and be confident in optimizing towards both performance and branding KPIs.

In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.

About The Positions Contributions:

35% Campaign Management

  • Manage a portfolio of clients and ensure that they are performing towards KPI's and pacing consistently to goal throughout the campaign

  • Manage campaigns confidently across industry leading trading platforms

  • Manage political campaigns in the buildup to the midterms

  • Innovate and find new ways to improve campaign performance

35% Data Analysis

  • Utilize DSP and client reporting to identify opportunities to improve campaign performance

  • Adjust DSP parameters including bids, frequency, recency, and bid multipliers in accordance with data to improve outcomes on campaigns

  • Maintain a track of discrepancies, using both DSP & client reporting, along with reporting available in Tableau

30% Collaboration and Communication

  • Work with the team to follow existing best practices, and make recommendations for new best practices on campaigns

  • Work with DSP partners to troubleshoot issues on campaigns as they arise

  • Maintain clear, consistent lines of communication with the commercial team on campaign performance

The Role's Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience preferred.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience trading programmatic campaigns

  • 3+ years of experience of optimizing towards CPA & ROAS KPIs

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:

  • Previous experience managing political campaigns is preferred but not essential

  • Experience and certifications across our preferred DSP's (AdTheorent, Amazon and The Trade Desk)

  • Experience working with internal commercial departments to holistically grow partnerships through performance, communication and strategic recommendations

  • Demonstrated mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to communicate and present across a broad range of audiences

  • Systematic approach to problem solving with affinity for proactive and real time troubleshooting

  • A can-do attitude to provide energy, drive and enthusiasm

Approximate Travel Requirement: 5%

Pay Range

Salary: New York: $115,000.00 - $140,000.00

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of People Inc's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
