UFA) Data Analytics. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President & Chief Data Officer,
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Support financial planning and operational decision-making across Rutgers through advanced analytics, statistical modeling, forecasting, and data visualization.
- Contributes to expanding data-informed decision-making across the university.
- Transforms complex institutional data into actionable insights that inform planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives.
- Develops predictive and statistical models, prepares analytical datasets using SQL and Python, and designs interactive dashboards that enable stakeholders to explore and understand key drivers of institutional outcomes.
- Collaborates with teams across finance, budgeting, treasury, and the Office of Information Technology to deliver high-quality analysis that supports strategic and operational decision-making.

The final salary offer may be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position. Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- At least three years of professional experience in data analytics, statistical modeling, or predictive analysis, or a Master's degree in a related quantitative field with relevant applied analytics experience.
- A Master's degree in a related quantitative field with relevant applied analytics experience may substitute for the experience requirement.

- Demonstrated experience with statistical modeling and time-series forecasting methods used for trend analysis and forecasting.

Immunization Requirements
Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
