Are you ready to join the Un-carrier movement?The Sr Software Engineer is essential for designing, implementing, and deploying scalable software solutions that meet customer requirements and support high availability environments. This role is focused on mobile DevOps and platform engineering, enabling reliable, scalable CI/CD systems for iOS and Android application delivery. This team is responsible for supporting and managing the delivery infrastructure for T-Life, Metro, and other enterprise mobile applications, ensuring high-quality releases, operational reliability, and a seamless customer experience at scale. The role involves collaborating with engineers to build and operate mobile delivery pipelines and platform infrastructure using cloud-native technologies including CI/CD systems, AWS, Kubernetes, and automated build infrastructure. It requires independent judgment to resolve technical issues and make recommendations for software design, implementation, and end-to-end build and release automation strategies. Success is measured by the ability to deliver effective software solutions that integrate with system protocols and meet business and technical requirements, as well as owning and improving mobile CI/CD pipelines, release reliability, and developer productivity at scale across T-Life, Metro, and enterprise applications. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
