PURPOSE: The purpose of the Leadership Development Specialist is to help support a sustainable leadership development continuum that provides comprehensive, relevant, and engaging learning experiences and support for all Missouri school leaders. High-quality systems, informed by research, affirm that educators have significant and lasting impact on student learning. These systems draw on multiple measures of instructional and leadership practices to evaluate and support teacher and principal effectiveness.
