Senior Program Manager

At this time, SCI is recruiting highly qualified candidates whose background and career goals meet our needs for the following position in Huntsville, AL. Please note that due to Department of Defense contract requirements, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.

Senior Program Manager

• Working independently, manages all aspects of a program from inception through final deliveryof product. Resolves problems, escalating as necessary, and makes recommendations andoccasional decisions regarding pricing, schedules, commit dates, etc.
• Program management also emphasizes the coordinating and prioritizing of resources, managinglinks between the program and the overall costs and risks of the program
• Project planning, project schedules and detailed project management plan, development ofbudgets, billing, and change control
• Builds productive internal/external working relationships
• Responsible for all program aspects and ensures program-related decisions are guided by theterms and conditions of the customer's contract
• Responsible for customer management and satisfaction, order management and delivery,revenue achievement, business issue resolution (A/R, E& O material issues, PPV, credit, RMA's), and business development
• Develop and maintain business relationships with customers and cultivate relationships thatestablish SCI's consultative approach and promote its total solution capabilities withincustomers' and potential customer's organizations
• Understand Sanmina and SCI Technology, Inc. offerings for vertical integration and directscustomer appropriately towards additional or alternative Sanmina-SCI products or services
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education and Experience:

• Candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
• Minimum of 5 years program/project management experience
• Strong program management experience
• The ideal candidate will have a "hands on" program management experience with highlytechnical, detailed programs requiring stringent reporting requirements
• Strong business acumen developed through a combination of education and experience
• Should be able to demonstrate relationship building skills and be comfortable interacting withprofessionals at all organizational levels
• Solid negotiation skills are required for interaction with both customers and internal stakeholders
• Ability to be persuasive, while at the same time providing a win/win flavor to all dealings
