Project Manager

Genesis10 is seeking a Project Manager based in Cleveland, OH; Albany, NY; or Buffalo, NY for a 7+ month contract-to-hire opportunity. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with the flexibility to work remotely up to three days per week.

Pay range: $65.00-75.00per hour

Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Core Deposits Delivery Team. This role is responsible for leading large, complex, and high-impact initiatives that span multiple Lines of Business (LOBs) and functional areas.
The ideal candidate will drive projects from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, stakeholder expectations, and business objectives. This individual will act as a trusted advisor, providing leadership, governance, and delivery excellence across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more mid-to-large, high-impact projects involving cross-functional teams, multiple LOBs, and enterprise systems.
• Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle (PLC) from initiation through delivery using established project, change, and risk management methodologies.
• Define and manage project scope, objectives, deliverables, and value proposition in alignment with business goals.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, including dependencies, critical paths, milestones, and status reporting.
• Establish clear expectations and maintain transparent communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Partner with business leaders to support business case development and project initiation activities.
• Lead communication planning, execution, and reporting, ensuring alignment across stakeholders, vendors, and impacted teams.
• Design and implement organizational change management strategies, including communication and training plans.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, including escalation and mitigation planning.
• Oversee resource planning, including internal teams, third-party vendors, and virtual teams.
• Manage and report on project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and project governance, conducting reviews of deliverables.
• Facilitate lessons learned sessions and continuous improvement efforts.
• Oversee vendor contract execution and compliance.

• 5+ years of project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
• Strong experience with project delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid)
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and large-scale initiatives

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
