Job Title: Mid-Level Data QA Engineer (ETL / IDMC)
Location: Remote (Candidates must be located near Southlake, TX or Austin, TX) Duration- 9 Months Job Summary We are seeking a Mid-Level Data QA Engineer with strong experience in ETL testing within a data-centric financial environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Informatica tools, strong SQL skills, and a keen eye for data quality and validation. Key Responsibilities Perform end-to-end testing of ETL workflows and data pipelines Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across systems Test and debug stored procedures, functions, and SQL queries Analyze complex data transformations and business logic Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business teams Maintain test cases, test plans, and defect tracking using QA tools Ensure adherence to data warehouse and ETL best practices Required Skills: 5+ hands of experience using modern ETL tools i.e. (Informatica Power Center, Informatica Data Management Cloud etc. ) 3+ years of experience debugging Stored Procedures/ Table Value Functions 5+ years of hands on, demonstrable experience of Informatica DVO 3-5 years of SQL experience (candidate should be able to decode complex sql statements, sql views and stored procedures) Good working knowledge of Datawarehouse and ETL concepts is required Attention to detail, time management, and a keen eye for data quality is required. Exposure using the using Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, Zephyr) Education and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or similar area of study Financial Services experience is plus Preferred Qualifications Experience in the Financial Services domain Familiarity with enterprise data environments | |
