Title: Logistics Associate III

Location: Burlingame, CA

Duration: 12 Months

Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Lead to own the end-to-end inventory lifecycle for our retail network. In this role, you will serve as the central hub between warehouses, retail locations, and technology teams.

Beyond managing daily execution-such as product replenishment and order fulfillment-you will play a critical role in identifying system gaps and driving the enhancement of our logistics tools and internal software.

Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management & Procurement

  • End-to-End Oversight: Manage inventory integrity across all nodes of the supply chain, ensuring accuracy from the distribution center to the retail back-of-house (BOH).

  • Replenishment Strategies: Analyze sales trends and stock levels to execute timely product orders, preventing stockouts while minimizing overstock.

  • Demand Planning: Collaborate with Merchandising and Sales teams to forecast needs based on seasonality, promotions, and new product launches.

  • Non-Consumable Management: Oversee demo units, display units, supplies, and new store opening kits.

2. Fulfillment & Transaction Support

  • Order Lifecycle Management: Monitor daily order flows to ensure correct processing and verification of fulfillment SLAs.

  • Exception Handling: Act as the primary escalation point for shipping delays, transaction errors, or receiving discrepancies; coordinate directly with 3PL partners and internal warehouses.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key metrics, including On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) rates and order processing speed.

3. Systems Optimization & Process Improvement

  • Tool Enhancement: Act as the "Super User" for the Inventory Management System (IMS) and ERP. Identify bugs or inefficiencies and partner with Tech/Product teams to define requirements for system updates.

  • Testing & Rollout: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new logistics tools or features prior to organizational rollout.

  • SOP Creation: Document workflows and establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure digital and physical inventory consistency.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3-5+ years in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Retail Logistics Operations.

  • Technical Skills: * Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).

    • Experience with ERP/IMS systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Shopify, or proprietary tools).

  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate operational needs into technical requirements for developers.
