Location: Saugerties, NY
Employment Type: Contract

Compensation: $25-$30/hour depending on experience
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8 to 5
About the Opportunity:
Join a fast-paced supply chain team where your ability to track, analyze, and accelerate orders directly impacts operational success. As a Supply Chain Expeditor, you'll play a key role in ensuring on-time delivery of materials by monitoring purchase orders, production schedules, and shipments while turning data into actionable insights.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and collaborating across teams in a dynamic environment. You'll combine hands-on expediting responsibilities with analytical work using dashboards and reporting tools to improve supply chain visibility and performance.
What You'll Do:
* Monitor and expedite purchase orders, production schedules, and shipments to ensure on-time delivery
* Serve as the primary point of contact between suppliers, procurement, logistics, and internal teams
* Identify potential delays or risks and proactively implement corrective actions
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date supply chain data within ERP and tracking systems
* Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to track KPIs such as lead times, cost savings, and inventory levels
* Analyze trends and performance data to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
* Generate reports and provide regular status updates to management and cross-functional stakeholders
* Support inventory planning and demand forecasting using data-driven insights
* Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and supplier agreements
* Collaborate with quoting and estimating teams to obtain vendor pricing and support procurement decisions

Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or expediting roles

  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Encompix)
