Description: NSI requires a Readiness Data Analyst IV (PMA-261) to provide CH-53K Built In Test (BIT) and Maintenance Data Computer (MDA) algorithms that identify avionics system faults and CH-53K sustainment data analytics support such as testing, troubleshooting, isolation, and repair. Able to resolve complex technical problems with limited engineering precedence.

Responsibilities:
  • Draft and revise technical content changes to operating manuals, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM), and engineering specifications to ensure safety, readiness, and material issues are properly addressed.
  • Evaluate the severity and potential safety impact of ExBit, IBIT, and other reported faults to ensure they are accurate and assigned an appropriate priority.
  • Develop Sikorsky Ground Based Application (SGBA) templates for use by OMA maintainers to validate and isolate Maintenance Fault Codes (MFC) reported by the MDC.
  • Review OEM specifications and design documents and provide technical advice/change recommendations to ensure compliance with government requirements.

Location: Jacksonville, NC/MCAS New River

Education: BS or BA degree, BS preferred.


Allowable Substitution: AS degree with (12) years of avionics organization level maintenance experience on a software centric aircraft.

Experience: Avionics Organizational Level Maintenance Technician that has at least (8) years of aircraft maintenance experience on a software centric aircraft. Four (4) years in the performance of comprehensive analysis across the spectrum of Product Support elements during a job assignment in or in support of an acquisition command/operational command weapon system.

Desired Experience: CH-53E/CH-53K Avionics Organizational Level Maintenance experience, F/A-18 Avionics Organization Level Maintenance background is optional.

Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
