Essential Job Duties
This role provides essential logistics and facilities support for the campus by efficiently processing incoming freight and managing the internal distribution of packages and supplies to various departments. In addition to daily logistics, the position coordinates the safe relocation of office furniture, medical equipment, and high-value assets between facilities. Responsibilities also include comprehensive asset management, such as organizing the transport of decommissioned equipment to University Surplus and ensuring the proper disposal of large-scale waste in strict compliance with university protocols.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of physical activity, including prolonged standing and walking throughout a full shift
  • Demonstrated ability to safely and independently lift, carry, and maneuver items weighing up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to navigate diverse clinical and administrative environments while transporting heavy or bulky materials

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education

  • Proficiency in basic computing, including Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, to manage digital records and internal requests
  • Preferred experience in safe warehouse operations, including forklift and pallet jack operation
