Finance Business Intelligence Analyst II

Osaic is not considering remote candidates at this time.

Osaic has returned to the office on a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 4 days weekly in the office. Applicants should be located at one of our hubs listed above and must be willing to work this schedule.

Role Type: Full-time

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year + annual bonus

Actual compensation offered will be determined individually, based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, licensure, experience, and education.

Summary:

We are looking for a data-driven motivated individual to join the Finance Business Intelligence team! Finance Business Intelligence is a central role in driving critical reporting, strategic direction, and evaluating firm wide performance. Finance Business Intelligence has an outsize role within our pre-IPO firm and generally collaborates with almost every corporate function.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant practical experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop deep subject matter expertise across financial and wealth management domains

  • Participate in strategic initiatives and contribute ideas to generate actionable insights and automation

  • Partner with stakeholders to define problems, identify root causes, and deliver solutions

  • Design, develop, and code end-to-end analytical solutions

  • Uphold control standards to ensure accurate and timely results

  • Present analytical insights and recommendations to stakeholders

Basic Requirements:

  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity for solving complex business problems

  • Proficiency with data analytics software and tools (e.g. Python, R) and data querying languages (e.g. SQL, Snowflake).

  • Exceptional communicator who's able to convey complex information in an understandable, compelling, and persuasive manner to business partners

Preferred Requirements:

  • Prior experience in financial services or a regulated industry

  • Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and Power BI

  • Working knowledge of data governance practices, including data quality and access controls
