Oversees the setup and maintenance of all Corporate Multi-Unit (CMU) and Local contract bids and order guides. Analyzes identify and propose actions to both purchasing and sales departments to ensure compliance with the Corporate Multi-Unit (CMU) business and grow margin/profitability.RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop overall pricing strategy at the item level and review the accuracy on-going.Analyze use of earned income, if necessary, to establish proper pricing structure.Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.Review margin reports daily at customer and item level to ensure the operation company (OpCo) is making the correct adjusted gross profit.Review top moving items for margin enhancement and make recommendations to purchasing departments.Review markets daily and recommend price changes to customer bids and market and national cost.Review all bids for correct pricing, i.e. suitability, adjusted gross profit, and case movementAssist VP Purchasing/Sales in developing queries/reports.Other duties as outlined by management QUALIFICATIONS: EducationHigh School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred ExperienceMinimum 5 years pricing or similar type of experience SkillsProficient in Microsoft Office, effective written/oral communication skills, strong analytical skills Decision Making AuthorityMost important decisions made fully independently:Setting & submitting cost basis for CMU and Local contract businessDirecting pricing coordinators on bid set up and communication with buyers and sales re: CMU businessMost important decisions made with review and approval of other individuals or supervisors (include the reviews/approvals required):Which bids to delete or items delete off the bid, review with VP Enable Skills-Based Hiring No Onboarding Package Q3Time Type Full time
