POSITION SPECIFICS

The College of the Liberal Arts is seeking a highly organized and student-centered Academic Integrity Program Coordinator to provide essential support for the College's Academic Integrity operations and the Director of Academic Integrity.

This position serves as the first point of contact for students, faculty, and advisers seeking assistance with academic integrity policies, procedures, and case processes.

The Academic Integrity Program Coordinator plays a vital role in managing academic integrity case workflows, supporting the Academic Integrity Committee (AIC), and ensuring consistent, timely, and accurate communication throughout the academic integrity review process.

The Academic Integrity Program Coordinator will offer exceptional customer service, provide accurate and timely information, and refer inquiries to appropriate staff members as necessary.

More specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Academic Integrity, including scheduling, drafting correspondence, and facilitating purchasing or event-related transactions.

  • Systematically manage academic integrity claims, ensuring all required documentation is collected, organized, and tracked; monitor response deadlines and maintain accurate case records.

  • Coordinate AIC by scheduling meetings, preparing and organizing case files, and supporting committee members' pre-meeting review.

  • Submit completed files from AIC to Penn State's Office of Student Accountability and Conflict Response.

  • Prepare written claim summaries for AIC review meetings; analyze submitted documentation and videos; present case summaries during meetings; and answer committee questions or provide clarification as needed.

  • Represent the College of the Liberal Arts in the University Academic Integrity Leadership Community (UAILC) by attending meetings, responding to information requests, and sharing relevant updates with the Director and AIC.

  • Plan, support, and participate in academic integrity programming, including the Honor Code event, Academic Integrity Month, and tabling at collegewide events such as the Undergraduate Festival.

After training, the Academic Integrity Program Coordinator will work with several systems, including SAP Concur, Starfish (student success platform), CollegeNet/25Live (scheduling platform), and the following Penn State systems:

  • DAISY (Digital Academic Integrity System)

  • LionPATH (Penn State's student information system)

  • WorkLion (collection of general HR information and resources, along with an inquiry system)

Qualifications:

  • High level of organization, professionalism, and discretion

  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to problem-solve and multitask

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Proficiency with core Microsoft Office applications, particularly Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint

  • Ability to build trust and sustain mutually respectful relationships across campus constituencies

MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or High School (HS) 2+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None

Additional Information:
The Academic Integrity Program Coordinator will report to the Administrative Support Manager of the College of the Liberal Arts Undergraduate Studies Office.

The College of the Liberal Arts is supportive of flexible work arrangements when aligned with the ability to meet the needs of the unit and the essential duties of the position. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.

SALARY & BENEFITS

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $38,300.00 - $55,500.00.
