Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled professional to join our product marketing team. The Marketing Communications Specialist will coordinate, manage, and execute product marketing plans, helping drive strategy and communications across the business unit. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, adaptability to shifting priorities, and the ability to clearly communicate complex XR technologies-including Virtual, Mixed, and Augmented Reality, as well as AI, connectivity, and semiconductors-to technical and non-technical audiences globally.

  1. 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced, matrixed tech environment
  2. Experience with product and technology marketing
  3. 1+ year of basic project management experience within a marketing organization
  4. Experience in presentation development, product messaging, and positioning
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and internal teams

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree + 3+ years of Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, or related experience
  • OR Associate's Degree + 5+ years of related experience
  • OR High School Diploma or equivalent + 7+ years of related experience
  • Advanced degrees may substitute up to 2 years (Master's = 1 year, Doctorate = 2 years)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support XR product marketing initiatives including strategy development, platform messaging, product launches, industry events, and co-marketing with customers
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, demo teams, business development, marketing, and third-party partners to plan and execute marketing programs
  • Lead internal communications, including quarterly reports, newsletters, and post-event summaries
  • Assist in developing creative assets such as blogs, presentations, videos, and photography
  • Collaborate with finance and procurement to track and manage the XR product marketing budget
  • Engage with potential customers and partners; act as a public spokesperson or demo staff at trade shows (domestic and international travel required)
  • Work with PR, digital, events, legal, brand, and other teams to ensure integrated product marketing aligned with business strategy
  • Translate technical concepts into messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences in a multicultural environment
