Work Schedule:
Per Diem. Hours and schedule vary. Minimum of 16 hours per week, with every other weekend rotation. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay:

  • Additional components of compensation may include:
    • Evening and night shift differential
    • Weekend differential

UW Health's Specialty Pharmacy team is growing!

We are seeking Pharmacy Technician Specialist - Per Diem to:

  • Experience a well-rounded view of pharmacy services, including mail services, specialty pharmacy, medication histories, prior authorizations and potential for research projects.
  • Help support our pharmacy services across the entire Madison area.
  • Be a strong team player, highly detail-oriented, and a critical thinker who easily identifies how to prioritize work and manage time within a busy work environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program Preferred

Work Experience

  • 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician, completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program, or completion of second year of pharmacy school. Required

Licenses & Certifications

  • Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration Upon Hire Required
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician Preferred
