OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANYFox TV Stations FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content. JOB DESCRIPTION The future of news is live, interactive, and on-demand. We are seeking a high-energy, tech-savvy Streaming Producer/Host to be the face and voice of our digital evolution. This isn't a traditional anchor role-it's a hybrid position for a digital native who can produce the show, switch the gears, and host the coverage all at once. Based in our newsroom, you will work directly with the Executive Producer of Streaming and the Digital Content Director to build a loyal audience on our live stream and the FOX Local CTV app. The Role: What You'll Do You are the "pilot" of our streaming experience, responsible for everything from content curation to live on-air delivery.
  • Host: Appear on camera to lead live coverage of breaking news, scheduled events, and specialized weather/information blocks.
  • Content Creator: Plan, schedule, produce, and edit video content specifically designed for a streaming-first audience, ensuring it meets our high editorial standards.
  • Technical Execution: Utilize video switching tools and non-linear editing (NLE) platforms to manage and execute the delivery of the live stream.
  • Real-Time Response: Monitor incoming feeds and collaborate with Assignment Editors to jump on breaking stories with the "speed of social" but the "accuracy of news."
  • Community Builder: Work with User Experience Producers to integrate real-time audience feedback and social media interaction into the broadcast, turning viewers into a community.
  • Data-Driven Strategy: Evaluate audience measurement data to help refine our content strategy and maximize reach.
What You Bring to the Table We are looking for a Producer who is just as comfortable behind a keyboard as they are in front of a lens.
  • On-Camera Talent: Excellent delivery with the ability to handle extended ad-lib segments during breaking news.
  • Editorial Sharpness: Strong news judgment and the ability to write conversational broadcast copy quickly and accurately.
  • Tech Proficiency: Hands-on experience with video production technology, including non-linear editing and live switching tools.
  • The "Self-Starter" Mentality: Ability to work independently and take initiative while maintaining real-time collaboration with the digital and news teams.
  • Operational Agility: You thrive in a deadline-driven environment where priorities can shift in an instant.
Education & Experience
  • Experience: Two (2) years of experience in a commercial TV newsroom or a major digital news organization is preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Skills: Expert-level English grammar and spelling; proficiency in social media amplification.
Requirements
  • This is an on-site, station-based role. Real-time collaboration with our production and news teams is essential to the success of our live streaming broadcasts.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $75,000.00-82,500.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
