Overview Job Skills / Requirements First Coast Security Solutions provides security services nationwide. We are seeking a full-time Armed Security Officer for the North Las Vegas, Nevada area. You must be willing to work on weekends and holidays. The Officer is responsible for enforcing security protocols, controlling access, and responding to emergencies. This role requires professionalism and ability to respond to incidents. Pay Transparency Base Rate: $35.83/hour + $5.09 Health & Welfare (H&W) Responsibilities Control of access to facilities. Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to identify hazards, detect security violations, and ensure safe conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and overall facility activity, including vehicle inspections, gate operations, CCTV monitoring, and remote access systems. Respond to incidents such as medical emergencies, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other situations. Must report hazardous conditions. Staff vehicle checkpoints. Protect evidence and secure incident scenes as required. Complete logs, reports, and documentation. Report suspicious activities, safety concerns, or incidents. Follow all safety rules, company policies, and site procedures. Must know and follow all established Use of Force policies. Other related duties may be assigned based on site needs. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be a United States citizen. Must have valid US state issued driver's license Must have reliable transportation. Shall fluently speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent written reports in English. Must maintain all required licenses, permits, and certifications. Push-ups: As many as possible within 2 minutes Sit-ups: As many as possible within 2 minutes 300-meter sprint: As fast as possible 165 lb victim drag (82 feet): Pass/Fail Working Conditions Work may be performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind. Position requires standing and walking patrols for extended periods and responding quickly. Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 25-50 lbs as needed. May involve exposure to noise, bright lighting, and fast-paced environments. Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and extended shifts. Must be available to travel.
