About the role:

The Procurement Analyst will work with the WBS 3 Mechanical Modules Team. You will support procurement and delivery activities for domestic projects and projects. The Analyst will help ensure suppliers maintain quality, cost, schedule, and technical requirements associated with the procurement of mechanical modules, equipment, components, and related services. This is an entry-level, individual contributor position that provides support throughout the procurement lifecycle. This includes supplier identification, request for quotation (RFQ) development, bid evaluation, purchase order placement, manufacturing oversight, delivery coordination, and final turnover of assigned equipment and components. The Procurement Analyst will work with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Project Management, and external suppliers to support successful execution of procurement goals and delivery commitments.

This hybrid position will report to the Senior Manager APX WBS 3&8, Mechanical Modules and Valves and be located at our Global Headquarters in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania in the Greater Pittsburgh Area.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Support supplier identification, qualification, evaluations, audits, and sourcing activities.
  • Help with RFQ development, proposal reviews, bid evaluations, and supplier selection processes.
  • Support procurement planning for assigned equipment and services.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Project Management, and suppliers to support procurement activities and ensure agreement on project goals.
  • Help with purchase order placement, supplier communications, change notices, and related documentation.
  • Track procurement schedules, deliverables, and supplier performance to support quality, cost, and schedule goals.
  • Support supplier oversight activities, including audits, inspections, quality assurance witness and hold points, and manufacturing progress reviews.
  • Identify procurement risks, schedule impacts, and potential mitigation actions.
  • Prepare procurement status reports, project updates, meeting agendas, and action-item tracking.
  • Support verification of supplier deliverables, including fabrication, testing, documentation, and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate quality release, turnover documentation, shipment readiness, and delivery activities with all partners.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with applicable company procedures, quality standards, and project requirements.



Qualifications:

  • 0+ years of experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related discipline required.
  • Work in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with applications including Excel.
  • Demonstrated initiative, accountability,.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and teams.
  • Willing to travel periodically to support supplier meetings, audits, inspections, and project needs.



We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $65,700 to $73,000 per year.
