Location: Spokane Valley, WA Schedule: Full-time, onsite Are you someone who enjoys helping patients navigate the healthcare system and isn't afraid to learn something new? We're looking for a Patient Access & Insurance Verification Specialist to join our infusion and pharmacy services office. While experience in insurance verification or reimbursement is helpful, we're open to training the right person who brings the right mindset, curiosity, and willingness to grow. What You'll Do In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring patients understand their coverage and financial responsibility while supporting our clinical and administrative teams. Key responsibilities include: * Verifying insurance benefits and eligibility for new patient referrals * Performing ongoing insurance and coverage checks (including Medicare, Medicaid, and hospice-related plans) * Reviewing documentation to help determine coverage eligibility for prescribed therapies * Creating and tracking cost disclosures, advance beneficiary notices, and patient benefit letters * Entering and maintaining accurate patient, physician, and therapy information in the electronic medical record * Requesting and following up on PCP referrals and insurance pre-authorizations * Documenting payer and billing details clearly and accurately in patient records * Assisting with Medicare Part D eligibility and drug formulary checks * Preparing and tracking charity care and financial assistance applications * Collaborating with teammates to resolve missing information, errors, or workflow issues * Participating in quality improvement initiatives and supporting mission-driven patient care What We're Looking For We care just as much about how you work as what you've done before. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
