Career Level: L5 Primary Purpose: The Director, Financial Systems & Finance Enterprise Resource Planning Transformation will lead SoCalGas and SDG&E through an enterprise-wide finance transformation, serving as the executive business owner for the SAP S/4HANA-enabled modernization of ERP platforms and processes. This role is accountable for delivering measurable business value, ensuring regulatory alignment, driving organizational adoption, and leading the finance systems support team. This leader will define the end-state finance systems strategy and oversee end-to-end delivery of the SAP finance transformation, including serving as the primary policy witness for regulatory cost recovery approval. The role establishes strong governance, drives continuous improvement, and integrates emerging technologies, including AI-enabled automation, to improve efficiency and performance. The Director oversees technical, functional, and organizational change management workstreams; manages relationships with ERP vendors, system integrators, and external partners; and ensures effective communication and alignment across internal stakeholders. This position is eligible for an annual performance-based incentive (bonus) as well as long-term incentive plans and other merit-based recognition. The target for this position is an award of 25% of base salary and is based on individual and company performance for the plan year.
