The Technical Training Program Specialist - Flow Cytometry will drive technical excellence for our Flow Cytometry Field Service Engineering team by designing and executing high-impact training strategies. You will partner with Technical Product Managers (TPMs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate complex technical workflows into engaging, scalable learning solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for Field Service Engineers for company specific products and tools.
  • Evaluate and assess trainee progress and provide feedback to the individual and management.
  • Design and update training materials, including presentations, eLMS content, videos, and tutorials
  • Maintain and update training records and reports
  • Provide support to staff during and after training sessions
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify training requirements
  • Stay current on industry developments and incorporate new technologies into training programs
  • Facilitate professional development workshops, including online sessions.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field preferred.
  • At least 2+ years' experience in learning & development, preferably in the life sciences environment.
  • Experience using and repairing flow cytometers preferred
  • Experience in curriculum development
  • Experience with e-learning tools and platforms
  • Proven track record of successful technical training delivery
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to present complex technical information in an easily understandable way
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other technology-based training tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear. Close vision is essential. Occasional stepstool use is needed to access materials. The role may involve potential exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. Employees may occasionally lift up to 25lbs; the typical noise level is moderate. Reasonable accommodation may be provided for individuals with disabilities.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Ability to lift at least 25lbs.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% to support in-person technical training.
